Brief: In the UK educational sector, Government funding is linked to student numbers, attendance rates and other variables. The systems used to claim and calculate funding can be complex. Getting it wrong can cost colleges a large proportion of their annual budget. National Data Services enable colleges to outsource their data collection and management service. Consequently, colleges can be sure that their funding claims and management decisions are based on up-to-date, accurate data. This is a specialised and sophisticated service dealing with very sensitive business issues. The agency and client decided that an 'editorial' approach would be the most appropriate to communicate all of the benefits of the service.
